Ashworth Point

Ashworth Point (49 ̊58'00" 124 ̊55'00" S end of Hernando I, N Str of Georgia). Newspaperman and real-estate promoter George Johnston Ashworth (1863–1937) was a long-time resident of Savary I. He was born at Newmarket, Ont, and served as an officer with the Queen’s York Rangers during the 1885 Riel Rebellion.
