Aster Bay (50 ̊12'00" 127 ̊49'00" NE side of Brooks Peninsula, NW Vancouver I). Douglas’s aster (Aster subspicatus) grows on the beach here, as it does widely along the coast of BC. The name was submitted in 1984 by the provincial museum’s 1981 Brooks Peninsula Expedition.
