Baker Bay

Baker Bay (49˚55'00" 124˚02'00" Head of Hotham Sd, N of lower Jervis Inlet, NW of Vancouver), Baker Island (50˚45'00" 126˚35'00" W side of Gilford I, NE of Port McNeill). Lt Joseph Baker (1767–1817) was with Capt George Vancouver on his historic exploration of the BC coast, starting the voyage as 3rd lt of HMS Discovery and ending it as 1st lt.
