Barkley Sound

Barkley Sound (48˚51'00" 125˚23'00" SE of Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Charles William Barkley (1759–1832), formerly with the E India Co, arrived as an independent British trader at Nootka Sd in June 1787 aboard the Imperial Eagle.
