Batt Bluff (50˚37'00" 126˚20'00" NE of Turnour I, Knight Inlet). David Batt was master of HMS Clio, a 22-gun screw corvette, under Capt Nicholas Turnour, and was based at Esquimalt, 1864–68. He retired as a lt in 1870 and died in 1886. Named by RN surveyor Lt Daniel Pender in 1865.
