Belle Chain Islets (48˚50'00" 123˚11'00" N of Saturna I, Gulf Is). Isabel Gertrude “Belle” Nagle (b 1846) was the youngest daughter of Capt Jeremiah Nagle (1800–82), who was Victoria harbourmaster in the 1860s and ’70s, and an important landowner in the capital city. She was born in NZ and migrated with her family to California in the 1850s, arriving at Victoria in 1859.
