Benney Islets

Benney Islets (52˚35'00" 129˚10'00" Off Clifford Bay, SW side of Aristazabal I). Sapper Henry J Benney came to BC with the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in the province 1858–63. He arrived in 1859 on Thames City with the main body of men and participated in the amateur theatricals that passengers put on to pass the time.
