Beresford Bay

Beresford Bay (54˚03'00" 133˚06'00" NW side of Graham I, QCI). William Beresford was assistant trader, cargo officer and purser aboard Capt George Dixon’s merchant vessel Queen Charlotte. In 1787, Dixon made a historic fur-trading journey around much of the QCI and was the first European to realize that the islands were an archipelago.
