Blenkinsop Bay

Blenkinsop Bay (50˚29'00" 126˚00'00" N side of Johnstone Str between Port Neville and Sunderland Channel, N of Sayward). George Blenkinsop (1822–1904), born in Cornwall, UK, joined the HBC in 1840. He was posted to Ft Stikine in northern BC, then helped establish Ft Rupert on N Vancouver I in 1850, working there until 1856.
