Branks Islet (52˚17'00" 128˚23'00" In Blair Inlet, off SW tip of Don Peninsula, NW of Bella Bella). Kate and Jennie (Jane) Branks were sisters, daughters of Robert and Catherine Branks of Scotland. The Branks family immigrated to NZ, where Jennie was born, then moved to California in 1851. Both sisters married prominent BC men.
