Brem Bay

Brem Bay (50˚26'00" 124˚40'00" N side of Toba Inlet at mouth of the Brem R, NE of Campbell R). The meaning of Brem is uncertain, though the Klahoose First Nation name for the bay is Kw’íkw’tichenam, meaning “having lots of pink (humpback) salmon.” A Klahoose village was located there and abandoned in the late 1920s. The area is known locally as Salmon Bay.
