Brougham Point (50˚22'00" 125˚23'00" SE side of E Thurlow I, N of Campbell R). Loughborough Inlet and the adjacent Thurlow Is were named in 1792 by Capt George Vancouver after lord chancellors of England. Capt George Richards continued this theme on his 1860 survey of the area, naming Chancellor Channel to the N of W Thurlow I.
