Burgess Cove

Burgess Cove (49˚26'00" 123˚27'00" SW side of Gambier I, Howe Sd, NW of Vancouver). Thomas Henry “Harry” Burgess (1868–1961), a native of Wiltshire, England, joined the Empress of China as an engineer in 1893 and was eventually marine superintendent of engineering for the CPR, 1922–31. He married Jean Allan at Vancouver in 1898.
