Calmus Passage

Calmus Passage (49˚13'00" 126˚00'00" N side of Vargas I, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Ildephonse Calmus (1885–1959) was a Benedictine missionary and principal of the Christie residential school at Kakawis, in Clayoquot Sd, 1922–29. He then moved to Salem, Oregon, where he became chaplain of the Chemawa Indian School.
