Campbell Bay


Campbell Bay (48˚51'45" 123˚15'40" E side of Mayne I, Gulf Is), Campbell Point (48˚51'00" 123˚15'00" SE entrance to Campbell Bay). Samuel Campbell (1832–1910), a native of Ireland and graduate of the Univ of Glasgow, was assistant surgeon aboard RN survey vessels Plumper and Hecate, under Capt George Richards, on the BC coast, 1857–62.
