Cann Inlet (52˚33'00" 128˚41'00" Kitasu Bay, W side of Swindle I, Laredo Sd). George Cann, born about 1810 in Middlesex, UK, was a cpl in the Crimean War before being promoted sgt maj and joining the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. His wife accompanied him to Victoria in the Thames City.
