Cape Caution


Cape Caution (51˚10'00" 127˚47'00" NW entrance to Queen Charlotte Str, N of Vancouver I). Capt George Vancouver named this point in 1793 for “the dangerous navigation in its vicinity.” The previous year his ship, HMS Discovery, was almost wrecked on a rock about 25 km SE of the cape.
