Cape McKay


Cape McKay (52˚24'00" 127˚25'00" S end of Cascade Inlet, Dean Channel, NE of Bella Bella), McKay Bay (52˚24'00" 127˚26'00" N side of Dean Channel). Alexander McKay (c 1770–1811), who also signed his name MacKay, was a fur trader and explorer who served as Alexander Mackenzie’s deputy on his historic overland journey to the Pacific coast in 1793.
