Cape Palmerston


Cape Palmerston (50˚36'00" 128˚18'00" S of San Josef Bay, NW end of Vancouver I). Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston (1784–1865), was one of Britain’s most famous statesmen. He served as an MP for 58 continuous years and was foreign secretary (1830–51), home secretary (1852–55) and PM (1855–58 and 1859–65).
