Captain Passage


Captain Passage (48˚49'00" 123˚25'00" Between Saltspring I and Prevost I, Gulf Is). Named for Capt John Fulford, who commanded HMS Ganges, the flagship of Rear Adm Robert Baynes, on the Pacific Station, 1857–60. Capt George Richards named several features on and around Saltspring I in association with Baynes in 1859. See Baynes Channel and Fulford Hbr. W
