Carmichael Point


Carmichael Point (52˚28'00" 128˚13'00" SW side of Salmon Bay, W side of Don Peninsula, N of Bella Bella). William Carmichael was assistant surgeon aboard HMS Scout, under Capt John Price, and served on the BC coast, based at Esquimalt, 1865–68. Named by Lt Daniel Pender in 1867.
