Carter Rocks

Carter Rocks (52˚40'00" 129˚30'00" W side of Moore Is, W of Aristazabal I). William Oliver Carter (c 1857–1934) was born at London, Ont. In 1862 he moved with his family to Victoria, where he married Hattie Collins (1875–1960), a native of NS, in 1897. The 1901 census lists his occupation as office clerk. The Carters took part in the Victoria old-timers’ reunion of 1924 (see Adams Bay). The feature was named about 1926.
