Casey Cove (54˚17'00" 130˚23'00" E side of Digby I, just W of Prince Rupert), Casey Point (54˚16'00" 130˚21'00" W end of Kaien I, Prince Rupert). Maj William Archer Casey was born in Ont and graduated from Upper Canada College. He became a topographical engineer for the GTP, camping on Casey Point in 1906 while doing preliminary survey work for the railway terminus. A member of the BC Regiment in WWI, Casey was killed in action at the Somme on Sept 8, 1916, aged 29, and is buried in France...
