Cerantes Rocks


Cerantes Rocks (48˚32'00" 124˚28'00" Off S entrance to Port San Juan, SW side of Vancouver I). Antonio Serantes (as his name is more commonly spelled) was a Spanish pilot who made several voyages to the PNW coast aboard the Princesca. He was in Alaska with Estéban Martínez in 1788 and again with Salvador Fidalgo in 1790.
