Cessford Islands (53˚51'00" 130˚30'00" Between Goschen I and Porcher I, SW of Prince Rupert). James Cessford (1865–1944) was born in NB and came to Victoria with his family at the age of three. He had a diverse career, serving aboard the Mary Ellen in the pelagic fur seal trade and then joining the Klondike gold rush in 1897.
