Christiansen Point


Christiansen Point (52˚14'00" 128˚11'00" SW tip of Chatfield I, N side of Seaforth Channel, just N of Bella Bella). Capt James Christiansen (1840–1927), born in Denmark, arrived at Victoria in 1864 on a Liverpool cargo ship and soon secured a job as mate of Capt William Spring’s trading schooner Surprise.
