Chrow Islands

Chrow Islands (48˚54'26" 125˚28'15" NE end of Felice Channel, W side of Barkley Sd, W side of Vancouver I). William Chrow (1859–1905) received a Crown grant of land on the N side of Barkley Sd in 1892. He married Jean Simson (1864–1948) in 1895 at Victoria and is listed in the 1898 BC voters list as a clerk at Victoria. Both William and Jean died at Vancouver. Formerly shown on early Admiralty charts as Double Is and renamed about 1936.
