Claydon Bay


Claydon Bay (50˚56'00" 126˚54'00" W side of Grappler Sd, N of N Broughton I and E Queen Charlotte Str). Claydon House, Buckinghamshire, was the residence of British peer and long-time MP Sir Harry Verney (1801–94), whose son, Lt-Cdr Edmund Hope Verney, commanded the gunboat Grappler on the BC coast, 1862–65.
