Clonard Bay


Clonard Bay (53˚21'00" 132˚30'00" S side of Rennell Sd, W side of Graham I, QCI), Clonard Point (53˚26'00" 132˚40'00" N side of Rennell Sd, entrance to Tartu Inlet). Baie de Clonard was the name that Capt Jean-François de Galaup, Comte de Lapérouse, gave to Rennell Sd in 1786, after the 1st lt on his ship, the Boussole.
