Coburg Peninsula


Coburg Peninsula (48˚25'00" 123˚28'00" W side of Royal Roads, just SW of Victoria). Named after Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Coburg is a city in Bavaria, Germany. In the 17th century it was the capital of the duchy of Saxe-Coburg; later it became one of the two capitals of the duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.
