Cook Bay


Cook Bay (49˚33'00" 124˚15'00" SW side of Texada I, Str of Georgia). Ezra S Cook obtained a Crown grant of land on this bay in 1890. In 1893 he married Louise McCutcheon at Nanaimo, where he was listed as a farmer on the 1898 BC voters list. In 1902, Cook also received Crown grants in the New Westminster land district. Cook Ck on Texada is named for him as well.
