Cook Cove


Cook Cove (48˚55'10" 123˚24'14" N of Montague Hbr, NE side of Galiano I, Gulf Is). John (c 1865–1955) and Mary Cook (b 1865) were early Galiano settlers who farmed at this location. According to author and historian Peter Murray, John’s father, Nicholas Cook (1832–70), was one of Mayne I’s earliest settlers.
