Cook Point

Cook Point (53˚48'00" 132˚12'00" NW side of Masset Sd, Graham I, QCI). Brothers Jack and Bill Cook were townsite managers for the Anchor Investment Co, which promoted and developed a new community in 1909, originally called Graham City, adjacent to the ancient Haida village of Masset. Graham City is now known as Masset, while the historic Haida village is usually called Old Masset. The name of the point was adopted in 1948.
