Coomes Bank


Coomes Bank (49˚13'00" 126˚00'00" Calmus Passage, N side of Vargas I, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Ferzando E Coomes pre-empted land at Long Beach in 1896 and received a Crown grant in 1912. Coomes Bank was formerly known as North Bank but was renamed in 1933 by regional hydrographer Henri Parizeau.
