Coopte Point


Coopte Point (49˚42'00" 126˚35'00" SE entrance to Tahsis Inlet, Nootka Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Coopte was the name of a long-abandoned winter village on this site belonging to the Mowachaht people, who are members of the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nation.
