Cowley Islands

Cowley Islands (53˚42'00" 132˚22'00" Off S side of Masset Inlet, Graham I, QCI), Cowley Rock (53˚41'00" 132˚21'00" Just SE of the Cowley Is). Francis Penrose V Cowley (1887–1962), of Victoria, assisted with hydrographic surveys in northern BC, 1908–10. He was in charge of several shore parties and worked at Dixon Entrance and near the mouth of the Skeena R before resigning in 1910, the year after he married Sybil Frances Bagshawe (1891–1978) at Victoria.
