Crew Island (53˚27'05" 128˚40'55" Head of Triumph Bay, NW end of Gardner Canal, S of Kitimat). On Sept 27, 1995, seven employees of a Triumph Bay logging camp died, along with the pilot, when a Western Straits Air Otter crashed 15 km NE of Campbell R. Killed in the accident were pilot Dan White, 37; Gordon Tripple, 22; Ralph Holzer, 29; Thomas Hughes, 35; Joseph Ponton, 55; and David Snyder, 44, all from Campbell R; Kirby Folster, 30, from Black Ck; and Marlene Miller, 54, from Nanaimo....
