Croasdaile Island


Croasdaile Island (54˚07'00" 130˚12'00" Off S side of Smith I, entrance to Skeena R, S of Prince Rupert). Henry Edward Croasdaile (1847–1915) served as an RN officer then immigrated to N America. By the mid-1870s he owned two sheep farms in Idaho that were destroyed in 1877 during conflicts with the Nez Perce First Nation.
