Cummins Islet


Cummins Islet (52˚29'09" 129˚01'50" Entrance to Weeteeam Bay, SW end of Aristazabal I). Sapper Allan Cummins (1839–1911) was a member of the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. His trade was listed as “nail maker,” and he remained in BC when the corps disbanded, working as a blacksmith in New Westminster.
