David Channel

David Channel (48˚59'30" 125˚19'30" E of Stopper Is, N of Broken Group, Barkley Sd, W side of Vancouver I), David Island (48˚58'00" 125˚23'00" SW side of David Channel), Mount David (48˚48'03" 123˚09'58" Overlooking Lyall Hbr, Saturna I, Gulf Is). Dr David Lyall served in BC from 1857 to 1861, first as the surgeon of the RN survey vessel Plumper and then as a member of the N American Boundary Commission. See Lyall Hbr.
