Descubierta Point

Descubierta Point (49˚41'00" 126˚30'00" SE entrance to Tlupana Inlet, Nootka Sd, W side of Vancouver I). The three-masted corvette Descubierta (Spanish for “discovery”) was especially built as the flagship of Capt Alejandro Malaspina’s 1789–94 circumnavigation of the world.
