Digby Island (54˚17'00" 130˚25'00" Between Chatham Sd and Prince Rupert Hbr). Lt Henry Almarus Digby was 2nd lt aboard HMS Malacca, under Capt Radulphus Oldfield, on the Pacific Station, 1866–68. He retired from the RN as a capt in 1894. RN surveyor Lt Daniel Pender named a number of geographical features in this area after the Malacca and its officers.
