Dillon Bay


Dillon Bay (53˚13'00" 129˚30'00" SE end of Pitt I, SW of Kitimat). Walter Dillon (b 1765) was an able seaman aboard HMS Discovery on Capt George Vancouver’s 1791–95 voyage to the PNW. His claim to fame, unfortunately, is that he received three dozen lashes for drunkenness and two dozen for stealing liquor.
