Discovery Point

Discovery Point (49˚35'00" 126˚33'00" E entrance to Nootka Sd, W side of Vancouver I). This HMS Discovery, not to be confused with the one in the Discovery I entry, was consort to HMS Resolution on Capt James Cook’s third great expedition, 1776–80.
