Dobbin Bay

Dobbin Bay (50˚47'00" 126˚48'00" S side of Broughton I, NE end of Queen Charlotte Str). Thomas Sydney Dobbin (1836–1905) was a civilian clerk at the RN yard at Esquimalt, 1865–98. After his first wife, Alice Annie Dobbin (1840–80), died, he married Dorothea Bean McKenzie at Victoria in 1882. Originally from England, he became senior clerk in 1875 and returned to his birthplace after retirement.
