Dock Point

Dock Point (48˚53'00" 123˚35'00" Between Vesuvius Bay and Duck Bay, NW side of Saltspring I, Gulf Is). This feature, which has appeared as Dock Point on Admiralty charts since 1865, was apparently named in association with the adjacent bay, once known as Dock Bay. This latter name, however, somehow became corrupted over the years to Duck Bay (qv).
