Dorman Island


Dorman Island (50˚36'07" 126˚20'12" S of Minstrel I, Clio Channel, N of Cracroft Is and Johnstone Str). John “Jack” Grandison Dorman (1889–1969) was born at Port Greville, NS. He came to Vancouver about 1910 and first operated a sawmill, then worked for various canneries on Vancouver I and the N coast.
