Dryad Point


Dryad Point (52˚11'07" 128˚06'43" NE side of Campbell I, NE of Bella Bella). The HBC brigs Dryad and Lama brought building materials and stores to Campbell I in 1833 from Ft Vancouver on the Columbia R. Their purpose was to construct and stock a new trading post, Ft McLoughlin, which was located just S of present-day Bella Bella until 1843.
