Dunns Nook (48˚26'27" 123˚27'05" W side of Esquimalt Hbr, S end of Vancouver I). Thomas Russell Dunn was an RN surgeon aboard HMS Fisgard, under Capt John Duntze, on the Pacific Station, 1843–47. By the time he retired, in 1861, he was an inspector-gen of hospitals and fleets (the RN’s second-highest medical rank) and an honorary physician to Queen Victoria.
