Elephant Head Mountain


Elephant Head Mountain (53˚13'55" 128˚51'16" NE end of Princess Royal I, S of Kitimat), Elephant Head Point (53˚14'59" 128˚50'45" NE side of Princess Royal I). According to Sailing Directions, it is the bold cliff face of the mountain, viewed from Fraser Reach, that resembles an elephant’s head. Elephant Head Point is also a prominent landmark. These names were adopted in 1979.
